What year were you born?
To get started: This assignment does not have a link, you must open a google doc or slides. You will then create a document all about the year you were born.
A lot of things probably happened in that year. How much do you know about the events of the year you were born?
Use the Internet to help you answer the following questions about the year of your birth:
What were some of the main headlines which were in the news? Find three news stories and write a short paragraph about
them.
Who was the President?
Who won the super bowl?
What films were popular at the movies?
What pop songs were in the charts?
What were the most popular toys around that time?
What was in fashion?
Think of five more questions you would like to know the answers to, and search for the answers.

What does the future hold?
|
You can go a couple different ways with this assignment. You can research new upcoming products/gadgets or you can tell me about what you want or think the future will look like. Complete this in a google doc or google slide; it is up to you. AI didn't give you much direction, so you need to be creative with this assignment. Google pictures of the future, what will our houses look like? What will our jobs be? What might we do for fun? Nobody really knows for sure, but it sure is fun to think about!
How much will these items cost? What item would you most want? Why? A Day of Made of Glass |
Person in History

1. Create a Word document or PowerPoint. Make sure you save the assignment to your H Drive! 2. Use the internet to research people or careers that make a difference. Please focus on people who are alive and working today. 3. Write a complete paragraph about the career and/or person that makes a difference. Tell about the job or person. Describe what they do. Explain how what they do makes a difference for others. Include your opinion about this. 4. Include an illustration. Product Research
Review one (or several) product(s). You can pick anything (that is school appropriate and that you are interested in). No, you may not just search sneakers (or whatever product you picked) the whole time. You actually have to write a review about it. This can be in docs or slides, whichever you would like.
Example: Would you recommend this product to a friend? How would you describe it in one or more words? If it were a car, what would it be? How does it compare to its competitor? If you were to review it what score would you give it out of 10? What do you find most frustrating about it? Overall, how easy to use do you find it? If you could change one thing about it what would it be and why? what features could you not live without? What do you like best about it? What do you like least about it? Anything else you would like to share? |
